Dr Kishan Patel is a specialist orthodontist at Iconic Smiles, bringing extensive hospital-based training, academic research and clinical experience to the assessment and treatment of complex orthodontic cases.

Education, qualifications and hospital experience
Dr Patel graduated with distinction from the University of Bristol in 2015, receiving prizes in both Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery.
Following qualification, he gained hospital experience across Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and Restorative Dentistry in London and Sheffield.
He subsequently completed three years of specialist orthodontic training at King’s College Hospital and St George’s University Hospital.
He also obtained an MSc from King’s College London, receiving the Philip Walther Prize for the highest result in his year, alongside Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
His hospital experience encompasses challenging orthodontic presentations, including complex bite discrepancies, missing teeth and cases requiring coordinated orthodontic and surgical treatment.
