Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers can be used to give you a bright, beautiful smile in place of chipped, broken, misaligned, undersized or worn down teeth. The application of veneers can be performed on a single tooth or multiple teeth to provide uniform shape, colour and symmetry to your smile.

Veneers are wafer thin custom made pieces of porcelain that are securely bonded to the teeth offering a natural, life like appearance with minimal tooth preparation.

let's talk about porcelain veneers

WHAT IS INVOLVED IN THE VENEER PROCEDURE?

Once the reason for having veneers has been evaluated; your dentist will, if necessary, have a custom made wax up designed to show what your teeth could look like with veneers in place.
You will then be required to attend the practice to have your teeth prepared for the veneers, impressions taken and a shade taken to ensure a colour match to your own natural teeth. Two weeks later you will return to have your custom made veneers bonded onto your teeth.

WILL YOU BE ABLE TO TELL THAT I HAVE VENEERS ON MY TEETH?

We only use the most up to date techniques and award winning dental laboratories when creating porcelain veneers for our patients. If necessary, we can ask a laboratory technician to attend the practice to take a custom shade for you, ensuring a perfect match to your teeth.

HOW MUCH DO VENEERS COST?

The cost of porcelain veneers can vary depending on the complexity on the case. Our prices for porcelain veneers start from £650 per tooth. View our fee guide

WILL I HAVE ANY DISCOMFORT WITH VENEERS?

Some patients find that during or immediately after they can have some mild sensitivity for a period of time, although this should settle down within a few days.
