Dr Pandya obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours in 2007 from Guy’s King’s & St Thomas’ School of Dentistry, with Distinction in Oral Disease, and since then has held various practice and hospital roles in several disciplines of dentistry. He won the Ruby Austin Gold Prize in 2008 for best clinical case presentation, London Deanery. In 2009, he obtained his Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Edinburgh and in 2015, his Certificate in Comprehensive Oral Implantology.
Dr Pandya was an Honorary Clinical Tutor, teaching undergraduate students at King’s College Hospital in 2009-10 and has been an Education Supervisor for Foundation Dentists for Health Education England, 2013-16, and Clinical Educator for the Foundation Degree in Oral Health Science. In 2015, he became a Partner in a group of dental practices in Essex.
In his previous role of Chief Clinical/Operating Officer, he supervised over 220 dentists across 36 practices nationally, safeguarding patient care, driving standards of excellence and redefining the patient journey.
Digital dentistry is not the future, but the here and now, and he is excited to be able to integrate this into our services and care to our patients, harnessing 3-D radiographic imaging, confocal laser technology and optical triangulation, as well as working with our Clinical Director to integrate cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence into our care pathways.
Dr Pandya’s interests are focused around oral surgery, osseointegration of dental implants and how their use can transform our patients’ lives by giving them back the confidence that they deserve. He enjoys the multidisciplinary aspects of dentistry, working with colleagues to unite teeth-straightening with bite and smile improvement, digital planning, whitening, composite bonding and teeth replacement to provide life-changing transformations. He also work with our GP Partner to perform surgery under intravenous sedation and has performed thousands of extractions in hospital and general practice.
